Finding out that you can’t have children can be a very devastating moment. Some people wait their entire lives to have children and to be told that you can’t makes you feel worthless or inferior. However, it is important to know some of the causes for infertility because some of the causes of infertility can be reversed.

That means that even if you’re told that you can’t have children today, in a few months of following doctor’s orders, you could be on your way to having your first of many children. Just remember that if the doctor tells you that your infertility is caused by something that you cannot help that it’s not the end of the world. Sometimes, adopting a child can be just as joyous as having a child naturally.

Male Versus Female Infertility Causes
When a couple finds out that they can’t have children, the woman often blames herself first. It’s a woman’s worst fear, in most cases, to be told that they can’t have children. Female infertility can be caused by a great many things including genetics, smoking, a poor diet, lack of exercise, a hormone imbalance and more. The diet, smoking, and other lifestyle characteristics can be changed to reverse fertility but in cases such as genetics, there may be nothing that can be done. However, a woman shouldn’t jump to conclusions without getting tested by a doctor because it may be the man that is the cause of their inability to become pregnant.

Male infertility can be caused by a low sperm count, irregular sperm, certain diseases and, again, genetics. Smoking, drug use and other lifestyle characteristics often play a part in male infertility as well. If a couple cannot become pregnant, the man should be tested to determine if he is the cause of the couple’s inability to conceive. The man will provide a sperm sample and will have it tested by the doctor. A blood and urine test may be necessary as well to determine if there are any other internal causes for infertility.

If a couple is determined to have one or more of the causes for infertility, there are other options available. For instance, there is adoption, there is en vitro fertilization and more. Talk to your doctor to see if there are alternatives available for you, such as fertility treatments. And, if not, there is always adoption. Sometimes, bringing that joy to an orphaned boy or girl can be just as great as that of having a child naturally. After all, there are many children out there who don’t have parents and you may be just the parents to fill the job for a very lucky little boy or girl.

The intestines should be able to break these items down and absorb them but, the problem with the intestines is that they become flatten from the disease not being treated and absorbing the nutrients from this specific kind of foods does not happen the way it should. You can have this disease at any stage of life from baby on up to senior citizen age. Now that we know what it is, we can talk about how Celiac Disease and infertility come together.

Celiac Disease and Infertility Problems Explained
There are about eight percent of the women that have Celiac disease and infertility both. It seems that keeping you on a gluten free diet like these women have to do because of the disease, causes the menstrual cycle to start earlier than normal and to bring on menopause earlier in life. This does not bode well for conception. Celiac disease and infertility also cause the menstrual cycle to be an on again off again thing. It is not to say that if you have Celiac disease and infertility that you will not be able to get pregnant, it means that it may take you longer or you may be older than you would like to be when you do finally get pregnant.

There are many ways for you to improve your chances of conceiving a child while having this disease. Celiac disease and infertility do not have to be a problem for you. Just realize that the gluten free diet is the main cause for the menstrual problems. You do however need that diet to keep you healthy. It is also not a big concern for pregnancy if you are on this type of diet. Not treating Celiac disease can not only cause you to be infertile but, if you do become pregnant, you can risk the chances of having a miscarriage, smaller babies, and fetal growth problems. One of the best things you can do is to take care of your Celiac disease and infertility will come but, it may be later in life for you.

Having That Baby
You are experiencing everything later in life than most women. This is because of the disease. You will need to treat yourself to be able to stay healthy. When it is left untreated, you can have a higher risk of problems with infertility and pregnancy. Just remember that Celiac Disease and infertility do not have to be put together in the same sentence for you.

Acupuncture has been used for centuries in some cultures as an effective means of treating a variety of illnesses. The idea behind acupuncture is that it regulates blood pressure by stimulating the central nervous system. This process also causes the release of neurotransmitters and neurohormones, which assist the body in healing itself. Finally, acupuncture releases endorphins which will inhibit pain and give the body an overall feeling of wellness. Acupuncture has been used to treat a number of conditions in western cultures as well as in the East where it originated, and now studies are being done to examine the link between acupuncture and infertility.

When to Use Acupuncture with Infertility
Most medical experts will agree that acupuncture and infertility are generally and effective combination when used to treat issues like hormonal imbalances, rather than structural abnormalities like blocked fallopian tubes. Since acupuncture can help to regulate your body’s system, blood flow is increased to the vital organs and hormone levels are better regulated. This will allow your body to heal itself from issues regarding an imbalance of hormones in some cases. It has been found that acupuncture and infertility work best together when acupuncture is done after conventional methods of treatment have been tried, or in conjunction with these treatment.

Sometimes during acupuncture sessions, herbs will be recommended to enhance the acupuncture experience and aid in healing the infertility issues. Keep in mind that some of these herbs can actually counter the effects of some of the fertility drugs that you might also be taking, so talk to your doctor before taking any kind of supplement. It has been shown that acupuncture and infertility are particularly effective when acupuncture is used while a woman is going through an in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle. This may be because acupuncture also serves as an aid to relaxing the body and reducing tension, which may contribute to the success of the IVF cycle.

If you are struggling with an inability to conceive, perhaps you should look into the link between acupuncture and infertility. At the very least, these sessions may help you to handle the other infertility treatments a bit better. Keep in mind that you will probably be scheduling one or two sessions of acupuncture a week for a number of weeks at a time in order to see results. However, it may be your key to success – and a health baby.

The use of Clomid and infertility drugs may be needed if you and your partner are experiencing troubles conceiving. The two have gone hand in hand for thirty years or more. This drug is popular because it helps a woman’s body to start to ovulate in the way it should. The Clomid stimulates the ovaries to produce mature eggs every month. This is important for raising the chances of getting pregnant. Clomid is infamous in the United Kingdom. You can find it readily available in the United Kingdom and in many online United States pharmacies.

How Does Clomid Work?
Clomid and infertility are made for each other. Clomid stimulates the receptors that regulate the female hormone production and the release of those hormones. There are three hormones that Clomid and infertility problems need to focus on. They are Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), and the Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH). These hormones are absolutely vital to proper ovulatuion in the female for pregnancy to occur. Clomid and infertility treatments work because this medication is very particular in making the body think that the estrogen levels are low. The brain sees these low levels and starts to make the three hormones listed above. They cause the ovaries to produce mature eggs.

Clomid and infertility in females seem to be the reason for many of the prescriptions written today. It helps to treat anovulation, PCOS, and irregular periods in women. The Clomid and infertility prescription is usually written for certain days of your period. You might need to take the drug on days three to seven of your cycle or you may need to take the Clomid on days five thru nine. You should start out Clomid at about 50 mg. you may need more than one cycle of the medication before you see results. If you have not increased your ovulation, you and your doctor will need to discuss the rise in the Clomid and infertility drugs. Six cycles is usually the extent of the Clomid. You will need to discontinue the Clomid and infertility treatments will need to be assessed for other options.

Successful Outcomes
Clomid and infertility drugs are the choice of women for a successful treatment for ovulation difficulties. You may become one of the seventy or higher percentage of the women on Clomid and infertility drugs that will become pregnant. You will need to confirm with your doctor and fertility specialist about whether Clomid and infertility drugs are right for you.

When a woman finds out that she is infertile, it can be devastating. Just the feeling of knowing that she can never conceive children is a very life changing experience. However, it is important to know what causes the infertility because sometimes all it takes is a doctor’s recommendation or the use of a prescription drug to change the woman’s chemistry so that she can finally have the child or children she’s always wanted. If a woman finds out that she is infertile, a doctor will usually perform a procedure called an endometrial biopsy.

What Is An Endometrial Biopsy And How Is It Performed?
An endometrial biopsy is performed by inserting a catheter through the woman’s cervix and into the uterus where the doctor will collect a sample of the uterine lining. The doctor will be testing to see if the uterine lining responds normally to progesterone, which is why endometrial biopsy and infertility go hand in hand. An endometrial biopsy can also be performed to test abnormal uterine bleeding, which can also be caused by a hormone imbalance.

If you have been deemed infertile and an endometrial biopsy is scheduled, make sure that you take ibuprofen before the procedure to alleviate some of the discomfort. Just remember that an endometrial biopsy is sometimes necessary to determine the cause of the infertility and in some cases the infertility can be reversed.

If the infertility is caused by a hormone imbalance, the endometrial biopsy will be able to detect that and the doctor will usually prescribe progesterone to relieve it. By having the simple endometrial biopsy for infertility performed, you could be well on your way to having that first coveted child.

However, it should be noted that not all women who are infertile and have an endometrial biopsy performed eventually have children. Infertility can be caused by a number of things and you should not get your hopes up too high. An endometrial biopsy for infertility can be a very useful tool but it is not a fix all.

There is a silver lining, however, as if you are infertile, and the endometrial biopsy determined that there’s nothing that can be done for you, just remember that you can always adopt. By adopting a child who doesn’t have the benefit of knowing their birth parents, you will bring joy to that child’s life and you will also fulfill that need of having a child. Even if you didn’t give birth to that child, just the unconditional love of that child will likely heal that emotional wound you endured the moment the doctor told you that you were infertile.

Female and male infertility is a disease of the system of reproduction that stops the body from being able to have children. The many factors that are involved in the natural conception all have to be in the right place and balance for it to be successful. The sperm of the male and the organs of the female need to in the right order. The environment needs to be in proper order. When anything is out of place in either man or woman, you have female and male infertility. If you feel that there is a problem with you and your partner having a child, you need to read on to understand what may be going on.

The Ins And Outs Of Female And Male Infertility
For the male, infertility is caused by a few different factors. It is essential for healthy sperm production to occur. This sperm needs to be able to get to the egg. It is said to need motility. If the sperm count is weak or it is not strong, pregnancy will not happen. Female and male infertility makes up about a third of male problems. The common problem that men face is known as azoospermia and oligospermnia. The first causes no sperm to be produced and the later causes the sperm to be reduced to a point where it is not useful. The problem could also be from sperm that is not formed correctly or they die before they can get to the egg to fertilize it. A disorder that is genetic, in nature, can also be a problem.

Female and male infertility are about the same percentage when you are looking into the causes. Female and male infertility problems are both about a third of a percent. Women need to have healthy eggs and fallopian tubes that are free of blockages to allow the sperm to flow through correctly. Women can also suffer from ovulation disorder. Correct cycles of ovulation are necessary for the healthy eggs to drop into place for the sperm to fertilize. Polycystic ovary syndrome is one of the more known problems in women. Female and male infertility problems can also be an effect of birth defects that have caused damage to the reproductive organs.

When To See A Doctor
It is important to realize when you will need to see your doctor. Female and male infertility needs to be treated in different ways and by different types of doctors. You can both see an infertility specialist to help you conceive but, you will need to try to find out about what is causing the infertility. Female infertility needs to start with a gynecological visit. Men need to see an urologist. Once the problem is found in female and male infertility in the couple, they can begin to start the process to conceive.

There are a number of causes of female infertility, but the good news is that your doctor has a very good chance of determining the cause for your particular problem. Once your infertility issue is diagnosed, you may well be on the way to an effective treatment plan that will bring you that much closer to the health pregnancy and baby that your heart desires. The first step is in understanding the many causes of female infertility, so that you can identify your medical problem and seek the appropriate treatment. Most doctors will recommend that if you are under the age of 39 and you have been trying to get pregnant for a full year, it is time to see your doctor to determine the cause of your female infertility.

Potential Causes of Female Infertility
There are many factors that can get in the way of a successful conception. One is hormonal factors that can wreak havoc with the ovulation process. There are numerous tests available that can detect hormonal issues, including a basal body temperature chart, an ovulation predictor test and blood tests that can evaluate hormone levels at different times during the monthly cycle. If hormonal issues are determined to be the cause of female infertility, treatment can include taking hormones orally to increase the chances of a successful ovulation and conception.

Another potential cause of infertility is damage to the fallopian tubes. The fallopian tubes are the means by which an egg will travel from the ovaries to the uterus. If an egg can’t make it to its final destination, conception cannot take place. Infections, endometriosis and surgeries all have the potential to cause damage to these tubes. This damage can usually be diagnosed with a variety of tools, and sometimes correction can be done with surgery. In other cases, treatment may involve extracting the egg directly from the ovary, fertilizing it outside of the body, and then transplanting it inside of the uterus. This will completely eliminate the need for healthy fallopian tubes as a part of the conception process.

In a small percentage of cases, the cause of the female infertility may never be known. In this case, you and your doctor will need to determine if there are good treatment options available, or if adoption or other means of having a family are a better solution. The good news is that with the many treatments available for female infertility today, your chances of successfully having a healthy baby are greater than ever before.
